Chris told us that he would like to keep a pet mouse.
But his daddy and I did not agree with him.
He went home after school yesterday, he asked us for an empty box.
We guessed something happened.
Later, he showed me the pencil box and there was a three-line mouse in it.
" The poor mouse had no enough space. The pencil box was very small. How could you treat it as this? " I said.
We found a bigger box for the mouse.
"Why did you have the mouse? We told you that it was not allowed." I said.
" I asked my classmates to buy one for me yesterday. May I keep the mouse, please?" he said.
" Okay. But you should take all responsibility for the mouse by yourself." I said.
"Sure. I promised." he smiled.
He is old enough to have his own opinions, maybe we should have more respect for him.
